Information & Documents required from applicants for project financing:-

The required information and document are classified as follows:-

I- Information about the project sponsoring company :-

1-1 For an existing company:-

Name of the Company.
Date of incorporating the Company.
Type of Company :( Joint stock company- Limited liability partnerships – Individuals)
Company address( p.o.box- cable –telex- telephone – fax)
The law under which the company was incorporated.
The company's share capital, names of shareholders , and distribution of shares among them.
Names of members of the board of directors and a brief resume of each member.
The organizational structure of the company.
A brief history of the company including any changes in the commercial names , legal status , business activities , share capital , reorganizations , mergera … etc.
Description of existing activities industrial and commercial , production capacity(ies) , and existing manpower.
A list of subsidiaries , showing total capital and percentage of ownership in each.
A list of the banks in which the company has accounts of any sort.
Name of person to be held responsible for all a contacts between the company and Arabic company , as well as mention of his position in the company , his qualifications and experience.

1-2 For Company Under Formation:-

Name of the company
Type of the company
The law under which the company will be formed
Data concerning the experience and investments of each of the founders of the company
Share capital required for formation of the company with a description of its distribution among shareholders
Name of person to be held responsible for all contacts between the company and Arabic company , as well as mention of his position in the company ,his qualifications , and experience

II- DOCMENTS RELATED TO THE COMPANY :-

2-1 For an existing company:-

Copy of the company's articles of incorporation and status with any amendments.
Copy of the valid trade register
Copy of the tax register and social insurance status document
Copy of the official gazette in which establishment of the company was declared
Copies of the company's current account statements from each of the banks with which it deals
Copies of plot ownership or lease documents
Production and sales statements for the past 3 years
Audited financial statements of the past 3 years

2-2 For Company Under Formation:-

III- DATA PERTAINING TO THE PROPOSED PROJECT:-

The following information must be included in the feasibility study provided for the project :

3-1GENERAL INFORMATION:

Names , qualifications and experience of the individuals or authorities preparing the feasibility study
A brief description of the activities , goals and products of the company
Production capacity (ies) of the project
Location and site of the plant including area of land and ownership status
Plant layout(production building administration building – warehouses – workshops - ….. ect)
The planned time schedule of the project
The organizational structure of the project and the qualifications and experience of the technical , financial and managerial apparatus
The status of the project at the time of application for the loan , including the status of the design operation , purchase of equipment , contracts with machine suppliers and contractors , civil buildings , arrival and installation of machines and equipment ..ect., with mention of any changes in proposed related plans
Current and past expenses/ buildings under construction

3-2 ESTIMATES OF TOTAL PROJECT COAND THE ASSUMPTIONS ON WHICH ESTIMATES WERE MADE ( INCLUDING OFFERS AND CONTRACTS ) , INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:-

Cost of land
Cost of machines and equipment including transportation cost to Egypt , clearance expenses , delivery to plant , and assemblage and trial expenses
Cost of tools and accessory equipment
Cost of air-conditioning , ventilation and fire prevention systems
Cost of transportation and vehicles
Cost of furniture
Cost of spare parts
Engineering fees( design and supervision)
Other fixed assets
Details of pre-operating expenses ( travel-wages-interest-general and administrative expenses- consultations , etc)
Details of working capitals
Suggested sources of project financing ( equity – loans)

3-3 PRODUCTION DATA:-

Types and specifications of products or services to be provided by the project
Annual production capacity of the project
Number of shifts per day and number of annual working days
List of auxiliary equipment(number-type-capacity-source)
List of transportation and handling facilities
List of raw materials, intermediate products and packaging materials(quantity- price-source)
Suggested raw materials inventory
Project utility requirements(electricity-water-fuel-gas-compressed air .etc)
List of manpower required for management and operation of the project(number-efficiency-monthly wages-sources)
Brief description of the production process and the various stages of production(with illustrations)
Estimates of annual operating expenses (standard year of production)
Type and source of technical know-how and assistance
Know- how contracts with foreign companies

3-4 LOCAL MARKET DATA:-

Brief description of the main applications of the products
Volume of local production of each product
Volume of imports , exports and re-exports
Volume of apparent local consumption of each product and it's distribution between the various applications
Current local and foreign sources of similar competitive products
Quantities produced and sold by the project in the past 5 years
Estimation of quantities expected to be sold during the first three years of the project life , and mention of major buyers and sales , volume to each buyer
Market share of the project products in the local market during the past few years ( for existing projects)or expected-market share for the first 10 years of the project life ( for new projects)
Expected local demand growth rate during the first 10 years of the project life
Prices of competitive products :CIF prices for imported products and ex-factory prices for local products (including wholesale and retail prices)

IV- PROJECT DOCUMENTS:-

An economic and technical feasibility study and any other studies available to the company
A copy of the production licenses , technical agreement contracts , management contracts , marketing contracts , plant erection contracts(turn-key-etc) or any other contracts related to the project
Consent of the general assembly , board of directors , partners , or the consumed ministry authorizing the proposed loan from Arabic company for trade and investment and the mortgage to Arabic company
Land ownership or rent documents
A copy of all governmental approvals , licenses concerning the project (e.g. the investment and Free Zones Authority approval , General Organization for industrialization approval … etc)
